Packing and scope of delivery
AORUS 17 laptops come in the same
boxes. Or rather, two. The first is protective cardboard, and the second,
located inside the first, framed in black. It has a logo on it.

The scope of delivery is located in
separate compartment on the right. The laptop does not take up all the internal space
boxes — it is laid in a massive lodgment and closed with a strong cardboard overlay.

Design and construction features
Even taking into account the fact that AORUS products are presented
as a gaming laptop looks quite strict. The logo makes it visually playful
brand, orange insert behind and RGB keyboard. For more understanding
its purpose will require you to turn on the laptop, but it is worth returning to this
a little later. The product weighs approximately 2.7 kg, and its dimensions are 39.8×25.4 × 2.4-2.7

only from below — through a sufficiently large set of corresponding holes,

Under the bottom cover, the dismantling of which
deprives the user of the warranty, hides everything that can be changed and cannot be changed. At
authorized service center, you can replace the memory modules and
SSD, and add another SSD.
The wireless module is also removable. Cooling system
is a single design of a set of heat pipes and
heat distribution plates. Four sets of aluminum fins are blown
a pair of fans.
Since the solid state drive
heats up quite a lot (Gen4
with the corresponding speeds), then the heat must somehow be removed from it. This
the task is assigned to the same removable cover, but between it and the drive is
fairly thick thermal pad. If you decide to install another

Screen
As already mentioned, all
current generation AORUS 17 modifications come with FullHD IPS screens
with a refresh rate of 360 Hz. There are no intermediate values between 60 Hz and 360 Hz.
Eye lighting uniformity

Looking a little from the side,

high level of performance. The good thing is the FullHD screen, which is also for the mobile version of the RTX 3080 Ti

on the side slightly changes the image in terms of brightness and color reproduction, but

Gigabyte Control Center
Pay no attention to the brand
software was not allowed. This is a completely new development
manufacturer, which, in comparison with the previous version, works where
more stable. The design has also changed. The functionality has also been expanded. Available
features: choosing a performance profile, changing key settings
laptop, system monitoring, cooling system management, configuration
backlight and keyboard functions, creating macros, the ability to create a removable
drive for system recovery, as well as the ability to update drivers

Testing
The entire model range of the current
generations of AORUS laptops
17 is based on the Core i7-12700H processor. Configuration difference
consists in the amount of RAM, video card and the amount of solid state
drive. The studied sample is characterized by 32 GB DDR5 memory (4800 MHz), 1 TB Gen4 storage and a video card
RTX 3080 Ti Laptop up to 135W TDP.
Judging by complex tests,
the results are impressive. Still — a standard processor thermal package for
continuous operation limited to 45 W, extended (for 56 seconds) 55 W,
and peak — 115 W, albeit only at 2.44 ms.
The main «trick» of the processors of the 12th

Conclusion
Not in the testing section

you can’t write there, except for a couple of phrases: about an hour in games and about five hours in

the fan speed is 5500 rpm, at which they are clearly
audible, but during testing they did not spin up more than 4000 rpm at

as it sometimes happens. The manufacturer has chosen really good fans.
In terms of performance, you can also only flatter to respond — the video card is not
strangled in terms of TDP,
like the processor. The SSD is very fast, DDR5 memory somewhere can also give a certain increase. smoothness
the screen is prohibitive by modern standards (yes, there are already faster
matrices, but this is still a very rare occurrence, and especially in laptops). What can
stop buying AORUS 17 YE5-74RU544SH? Perhaps — the price tag, which is
about $ 265-2700 (at the time of publication of the material). But the flagship is
flagship — its capabilities are enough not only for any modern games, but also for
performing heavy tasks in professional software. So what
