The main advantage of the Doogee T10 tablet is the price-performance ratio: TÜV Rheinland certified FHD display with minimal blue emission, decent performance for content consumption, 8GB of RAM and an acceptable level of storage that can be expanded with microSD. You feel the trick when you look at the price. The tablet really deserves the title of optimal, both in terms of functionality and in terms of price. Additional accessories from the kit only enhance the attractiveness.
What could be better than the T10 model? Until recently, I would have called the models of less well-known companies with a caveat, they have less memory. From December 22, 2022, an updated version of the T10 — Doogee T20 will be sold on the AliExpress site. Comparing the two models in terms of improved performance at the reviewed and the same * prices seems ridiculous. Reading the current review, you should understand that the new version of the tablet will be better. The Doogee brand will sell both tablet models at the same price, limiting the offer to only the number of promotional codes. More details in the conclusions.
The following is an overview of the Doogee T10 tablet: its functions, appearance, composition of the kit are described, characteristics are given in comparison with the T20 model, examples of photos and video recordings are shown, stress tests are carried out, usage experience is described and conclusions are drawn.
The tablet is in a large box. There are no more packages if you ordered the basic package. The silicone case and stylus promised when buying are inside.

Under the top cover, the user is presented with the T10 model in the selected color.

The delivery set in the base is quite large: a tablet, a book case, a capacitive stylus without pressure perception combined with a pen, a SIM tray pusher, a USB-A USB-C cable, an 18W charger, instructions and a warranty card.

The stylus has a pen on one side and a pointer on the other. The charging unit is standard, medium size and 18W, cable 1 meter long.

A transport film is installed on the Doogee T10 screen, under which there is a second protective film. The back of the case-stand is made of silicone. The cover can be bent and unbent, the front part is glued to the silicone base and performs the function of turning the screen on / off when reclining. A useful feature that I miss in a smartphone with a folding screen Royole FlexPai 2 (review here).

The following shows the tablet from all sides. The body of the model is 7.5 mm thick, that is, not thick, and therefore comfortable. The layout of the elements is thoughtfully better than the Oukitel RT2. There are no functional elements on the first side face of a smaller size. On one of the long side faces are two stereo speakers. On the second, smaller bottom, there is a 3.5 mm headphone jack, power and volume buttons, as well as a USB-C port below. On the last edge there is a tray for 2 SIM cards or a SIM card and microSD. Memory cards up to 1TB are accepted. Regarding the named analogue, the speakers of which are located on the sides, therefore, with everyday grip, you obscure them with the palms of your hands; the model from Doogee does not have this. In T10, they are on one side at the bottom and are not obscured by daily use.
There are no controls on the back wall, except for the 13MP camera from Samsung. Second «peephole» under the camera — dummy (see more details Disassembly). Most of the upper side (81%) is occupied by the display, at the top in the middle of which there is an 8MP camera also from Samsung. The display, as you can see from the next photo, is very smudged and leaves prints. Hand control will make it dirty, so the stylus will partially solve the problem.

tablet works on naked 12 Android. The device screens are shown below. There is no Antutu program in the database. It’s already installed by me.
It can be seen that 118GB of memory is available to the user. There were no updates at the time of publication other than updates via Google Play.

Like any system, the current view can be customized. Choose the font size, the size of the displayed icons, gesture control, color reproduction. I will dwell separately on the function of increasing the RAM due to the internal one. You can increase the RAM of the Doogee T10 by 7GB, but only the internal memory of the eMMC standard, the speed of which is not very fast, so the benefit of such an event is doubtful (the memory in the T20 already has the UFS2.1 format). I worked in two versions and did not notice the difference, so this function is nothing more than marketing.
The tablet’s display is not bad, despite the fact that the number of pixels per inch (ppi) is less than 300 — a value above which the human eye no longer distinguishes image quality. The Doogee T10 figure is 224ppi. In other devices, I would like the figure to be closer to 300ppi. The second feature of the display is the TÜV Rheinland certification, which confirms that the screen of the device does not contain, or contains a small number of waves up to 450 nm long (blue light). To compensate for waves up to the named wavelength, manufacturers select other colors from the 450-475 nm range, so it is more difficult to notice the difference in color reproduction.
The color reproduction of the T10 display has a pronounced cool tint. The colors seem unrealistic, but my eyes get tired from such a display less (or not at all) than from others in which the parameter has a similar shade. My eyes feel another option, for example, I casually said about it in the review of the Infinix Hot 12 Play NFC smartphone.
In general, the display of the Doogee T10 tablet is not bad and, taking into account the TÜV Rheinland certification and DCI-P3 color gamut support, reduces harmful blue radiation on the eyes and has normal color reproduction.

Detailed information about the technical characteristics of T10 can be found on the official Doogee page.
The tablet is charged in 260 minutes at 7726mAh (40.6Wh). The specifications indicate that the charge should go to 18W, but in reality — 10W. The kit includes 18W memory, but the tablet does not have such power. A similar situation is observed in other representatives from protected brands, in particular, in the Unihertz Tank (review here), the charge goes to 45W, and the complete PSU goes to 65W.
A full battery lasted for 10 hours, of which the screen was active for 6 hours. The video (YouTube) played for approximately 2.8 out of 6 hours. The operating time for a 8300mAh battery is not the best, analogues can be longer. The same situation is observed in the case of the time of use of the Oukitel RT2 tablet, adjusted for battery capacity. Both have the same ratio of screen share to capacity. In other words, there is no better optimization yet («not delivered«).
With continuous use, the battery lasts for at least 10 hours. If used sparingly, then the discharge can be stretched over time up to 24 hours. The indicated options are shown below in the screenshots from the 3C Battery Manager program.
The following are the results of checking the effective capacity of the battery through charge and discharge. The discharge current of the tablet is small — 0.5A (in the photo below, the figure is 1.5A, but this was only with one device, with the rest the current was 0.5A). If it was charged in 255 minutes at 7921 mAh (39.3Wh), then it was discharged in 585 minutes at 5160mAh (26.0Wh). The real effective capacity was 65% (66%).

As I said above, the discharge goes with a current strength of 0.5A (1.5A is a special case, you may not have this). In time, the process lasts almost 10 hours, so if I started the same thing in the case of the Oukitel RT2 tablet, it would take 26 hours, but the discharge rate there was even less. In this regard, the T10 model is more reliable when the phone’s battery is discharged: you can recharge it easier than through RT2.
Below is information on the photo and video modes available in the standard Camera program.

There are many photo and video shooting modes available on the tablet: Panorama, Pro, Photo, Video, Slow and Interval and QR code reading (in the More tab). The model has two cameras, one main for 13 and front for 8 MP. The video should be recorded on the main one at 1440p@30fps, on the front one at 1080p@30fps, but in fact the resolution on each camera is reduced by one quantile.
Examples of photographs during the day are shown below, videos are at the end of the section. The front camera is made for messaging through messengers, the main one is not much better, but it does the job. It’s good that they are. In this case, I will not give many pictures, since the tablet was not created for that.
A variant of the photograph of a moving object is shown below. The main camera didn’t catch it. It can be seen that the resulting image is overexposed, the white balance is not correct. However, I like the resulting photo realism in the Doogee T10, it does not divert the frame into extreme tones.

Below is an example of a 10x digital zoom.

Portrait shooting — hardware. The shots turn out to be quite good in terms of working out details and highlighting plans even in difficult situations (first photo below). Examples are shown below.

For reference, a photograph is shown in low light. When focusing, the picture did not just tremble, but was cropped, that is, in such conditions the cameras are not suitable for shooting.

An example of video recording from a tablet is shown below. Recording is carried out in a horizontal position with two hands. The declared support for 1440p on the main and 1080p on the front at 30 fps was not confirmed. Recording is done at 1080p and 720p at 30 fps in both cases, respectively. There is a 10x digital zoom.
The test was carried out on a cold phone five times in a row. The result was considered average.
The average result is 250587 points. The indicator is higher than that of the Oukitel RT2 tablet (219362 points).
The test results show that the processor performance did not fall below 90%. The tablet performed well in the test.

In the single-core Geekbench test, the T10 scores more than the RT2, but in the multi-core test, the latter outperforms the reviewed one.

Below is the result of a throttling test that was run on 100 threads for 30 minutes.

The processor is not throttling. The average test result is 149956 casts. The Oukitel RT2 indicator is 169212 gypsum.
A tablet with a large screen diagonal does not heat up much during prolonged use, whether it is watching a movie or playing PUBG Mobile. Therefore, the heating results are best judged by the Antutu performance test (see above). In the test, the temperature on the batteries increased from 25 to 32⁰ C. This is a slight heating. I did not manage to get noticeable heating on the case for the entire time of use.
The following shows the results of tests for read / write speed and the number of simultaneous touches. The tablet supports up to 10 simultaneous touches.
A random write speed of at least 100 MB / s will be sufficient for using the technique. Doogee T10 more than satisfies the indicator.

The satellite test for the product being reviewed is not the main one, but it is important. The large screen is a navigational advantage that should be taken advantage of. The location is determined quickly, but the accuracy is 4 m in open space: 36 are visible and 26 satellites of the first level are used, in particular from such systems as: BeiDou, Galileo, GPS and GLONASS. There is no GNSS support. Everything corresponds to the declared in the characteristics.

The back cover is held on by latches. The design is not the strongest, but it cannot be called flimsy either. You can see how much you saved. This approach is justified for the sake of obtaining acceptable quality at an affordable price, so there is no point in making claims. Before disassembly, you need to pull out the sim tray. I advise you to assemble it back from the side of the overlays in the form of power and volume buttons, since they are not attached and will hang out if you do not start the reverse process from them. A view of the interior is shown below. It can be seen that there is no second chamber inside. Second «peephole«on the back of the tablet is nothing more than a dummy.

I did not unscrew further, simply because the main microcircuits are available without additional manipulations. A view of them is shown below:

A description of some microcircuits is given below (those that were found). Datasheets for the most part are not looked for, or require additional registration.

Battery information is shown below in the photo. The received charge (see above) corresponds to the information on the batteries.

GSM / GPS modules are located inside the case cover:

Doogee T10 works well without a back cover.

With disassembly — everything!
The first thing you want to do when you have such a thin and large tablet in your hands is the convenience of typing using the keyboard. The keyboard allows you to take the entire display for checking what is written. It is not the first time you come to such an understanding, but this is the property that delivers more convenience than you might initially think. With a keyboard, you can practically have a computer.

There are more questions to the screen. In terms of response, the display is not the best. It happens that you want to click in one place, but then the click does not work the first time, then the next function is pressed. There are questions about the quality of the picture update. The software shows that there is 60Hz, but the display behaves rudely, as if it were freezing. Maybe I’m nitpicking, but as with the screen annoyance in Oukitel RT2, removed all transition, window and duration animations to «No Animation». Working with the display has become much better and more pleasant for me. Screen orientation works with a delay. The tablet has a single sensor — a gyroscope. There are no others, in particular NFC, a fingerprint. Unlock can be configured by password or by face.

As in the case of Oukitel RT2, I installed LocusMaps maps. I liked the operation and speed of the interface more in the reviewed model. Cards in two layers worked faster: there was slowdown, but it was less than in RT2.
I did not like to play through the tablet because of the elongated screen. Maybe I’m used to a more square one, but I also don’t play anything other than PUBG Mobile. In games where interaction is carried out with one hand or you do not need to hold the tablet on weight, the T10 model will be useful. Performance, as shown above in the tests, is quite enough for entertainment, and for games, and for working with programs, cards. One thing is certain, the Doogee T10 tablet is definitely suitable for content consumption!
A tablet model with a large and high-quality display is needed for watching videos, working with maps or documents. On such displays it is much more pleasant to carry out frequent actions, view pages on the Internet. The Doogee T10 tablet model with a starting price of $120 raised questions about its adequacy in terms of price-quality ratio. I was among those who asked a similar question, but after getting acquainted with the product, I changed my mind about it. Firstly, T10 scores more in Antutu than Oukitel RT2; in the Geekbench test, the models have parity — the first is better in single-core, and the second is better in multi-core modes; in the test for throttling and satellites, the latter has an advantage. Therefore, for entertainment, the overlooked one is better suited. Secondly, Doogee weighs half as much as Oukitel. And thirdly, this is the price, which is lower than not only the named one, but also other models from the selection of tablets that I made for the 11.11 sale (it is still relevant now).
You can find out the current price of the Doogee T10 tablet in the official Doogee Official Store on AliExpress. According to available information, it will cost $150 on Doogee Brand Day. During the upcoming Brand Day, which will be held from December 22 to 24, 2022, the company will also present an updated version of the tablet (in the selection above, the T10 model has been replaced with a new one) — Doogee T20. The new tablet model will be valid for $30 promo code DT2030, with which the price will be $150. Usually such promotional codes end earlier than promised. For the first 100 buyers of new items, a Doogee fitness watch will be given as a gift. Those who missed the Doogee T10 price of $120 last time can catch the reduced price of the Doogee T20.
