On April 14, Sony officially announced two premium phones, the Xperia 1 III and Xperia 5 III, aimed at multimedia and gaming enthusiasts.

Xperia 1III and 5III are devices that support 5G networks and are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The differences are primarily in the display, memory, and minor changes to the camera setup. In this case, both phones have lenses with a focal length of 70 mm to 105 mm (from 2.9 x to 4.4 x optical zoom).
Xperia 1III features a larger 6.5-inch 4K OLED HDR CinemaWide 21:9 screen that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. Xperia 5III also uses a similar display specification, but 6.1 inches in size and FHD resolution. The screens of the Xperia 1 III smartphones are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, while the Xperia 5 III is just Gorilla Glass 6.
Xperia 1III available with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB/512 GB of internal storage, while in 5III installed 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of memory. MicroSD expansion is supported through the presence of hybrid dual-SIM slots.

Both devices use a built-in 4500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging, and Xperia 1III boasts wireless charging.
Sony Xperia 1III will be available in matte black, matte gray and matte purple, while Xperia 5III available in black, green and pink.
