Hexagon has announced the Leica BLK ARC and Leica BLK2FLY, expanding its BLK series. Both solutions were presented at the digital presentation «The era of autonomy — the next evolution of BLK»

The Leica BLK ARC is a laser scanning sensor specifically designed to improve the autonomous navigation of robots and other carrier platforms and enable fully autonomous mobile laser scanning.
The BLK ARC is linked to the Boston Dynamics Spot, but the manufacturer says it can be integrated with other autonomous carrier robots.
The Leica BLK2FLY is a fully integrated, self-contained flying laser scanning sensor. Which will allow you to quickly and easily scan structures and the environment.

The design of BLK2FLY includes LiDAR sensors, radar, camera and GNSS, which should ensure the safety of autonomous flight.
