Packaging and equipment
A faceless dark cardboard box with a mention of the contents and key points that these gadgets can do. Inside is a plastic blister, in which the watch is firmly held and protected from damage, and under it is the power cord and instructions.
The instruction has been translated into 6 languages, including Russian. Useful: for instructions, you can scan a QR code to download a mobile application from the Play Market and see the detailed clock settings.
Wire about 0.5 m long with a magnetic platform and two spring-loaded contacts. The watch is magnetized only in one position and the fixation is quite tight.
Appearance
A transport film is applied to the screen, and already under it you can see an additional protective one. The case is made of plastic and has an octagonal shape with minor protrusions around the screen.
The strap is made of soft rubber and looks like a car tire tread. A red stripe completes the look. Behind deep tread and inconspicuous adjustment holes. On the other side there is a metal lock. The straps are quick-release and when ordering, you can choose additional ones, as well as a protective glass.
The sides of the watch are symmetrical and you can see small protrusions stylized as buttons on them, but there is only one control button, it is located on the right side.
On the bottom you can see the contacts for connecting the wire and charging the built-in battery and the sensor window covered with a protective film.
Sensors during operation are highlighted in green and red.
Interface
The interface is quite unusual, although it repeats some analogues of the watch. For example, with taps from left to right, or vice versa from right to left, the skins of the screens change. In total, 5 pre-installed ones are laid down and in the future you can download from the mobile application or create your own unique ones. Screen skins are animated or static, have different colors and content to display information. Initially, 5 shells are preinstalled in the watch.
Swiping down from top to bottom opens access to quick settings and the ability to go to more in-depth settings. Here you can also adjust the brightness, activate the flashlight, turn off the clock and view the date and time. In different images, you can see the difference in screen brightness at the minimum and maximum settings of this parameter.
Swipe up from the bottom opens access to settings and various fitness workouts. Everything is initially arranged in the form of a list, but this can be changed. All information fits on 5 pages of 4 lines with subparagraphs. Everything is lumped together and at first you are a little lost in diversity.
I already mentioned above that you can change the theme for displaying labels of preinstalled programs, and so, it is selected in the “theme” sub-item from the list option and large shortcuts.
It is not necessary to set the system language of the watch on the smartphone, but you can select it directly from the menu if you wish. There are about 10 languages.

After setting up notifications through the mobile application, you can receive and read messages on the watch, see who is calling or view mail.

Mobile app
To install, use the QR code from the instructions or open it on the watch. Previously, I did not come across the QWatch Pro application, but now we can say that it works stably, without crashes and freezes. The information is displayed correctly, you can make various settings for the clock and the application itself.
After installation, you need to conduct a small registration indicating: gender, age, height and weight of the user.
The screen is divided into 4 sub-pages, which can be seen as shortcuts at the bottom of the screen: data, watch settings, watch skin selection, application settings.
First of all, you need to connect the watch to your smartphone, and for this we activate the Bluetooth wireless connection and start searching on the smartphone.
The “data” page displays information received from the watch sensors and here you can also choose what will be displayed on the screen, add or vice versa remove the necessary items.
Watch settings are quite extensive and include a choice of program for notifications.
3 submenu allows you to select the clock display skin. This can be done from those presented or create your own with the addition of a unique image and display the necessary data.
The fourth subparagraph refers directly to the settings of the application itself. Here you can additionally connect Google Fit, change your account and user data, select the color theme of the program, find out the version of the program and, if possible, update it.
Conclusion
Smart watch Hotwav C1 is easy to use and at the same time quite attractive gadget for every day. A simple change of watch skins allows you to change the display and diversify the possibilities. Sports training is varied and there is the possibility of their selection for a person. The battery charge lasts exactly for a week, and in case of discharge, it will take about half an hour to replenish the capacity. The screen is large and informative, displays several lines of information, does not fade on the street at maximum brightness. Dust and moisture protection at the level of the IP67 standard, so you definitely can’t swim in them. The watch can be bought separately or paired with a rugged smartphone from the manufacturer of the same name.
