The key difference between the new AMD mobile processors from the Ryzen 6000 series was the transition to integrated RDNA2 graphics, which turned out to be much more productive than the familiar Vega graphics. Experts from the YouTube channel Hardware Unboxed tested the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 laptop with a Ryzen 9 6900HS processor and compared the results with competing solutions.
After testing in 6 modern games, it turned out that the video core in the Ryzen 6900HS on average demonstrates 74% higher fps compared to its predecessors in the Ryzen 5980HS and 5800H. In some games, there was a twofold difference in performance. As for the competitor from Intel, the results of the integrated graphics in the Intel i7-12700H turned out to be ~20% lower on average.
The only game where the i7-12700H managed to outperform its rival from AMD was the CS:GO multiplayer shooter (120 fps vs 102 fps). In Gears 5, the integrated graphics in the 6900HS fell only 15% behind the discrete Nvidia GTX 1650 Max-Q graphics card.
