The Dere T30 Pro laptop tablet is built on the 11th generation Intel N5095 processor, has an Intel UHD 450-750MHz video core. The laptop display is of excellent quality for content consumption: IPS 13″ 2160×1440, 330 nits, 60 Hz. There is a keyboard, stylus and up to 16GB / 1TB of memory. Based on the characteristics, the model is suitable for office tasks and video viewing.

Dere has a reputation for making reasonably priced laptops with decent quality. The older the model, the better it is made. In the reviewed laptop, the main thing is the screen. The processor does an excellent job with video in 1440p, has a good and loud sound. The magnetic case is available in 16/512GB (1TB) configurations. In models with 8/256 (512) GB, a mount with corner fixation of the tablet in the case is available.

I will alternately call the Dere T30 Pro either laptops or a tablet, since it has a large screen and Windows 11 operating system, which is unnecessary to understand about a tablet, and the touch screen just classifies the model as mobile. The low weight of the model is an advantage that makes it possible, together with a touch screen and a stylus, to resort to the keyboard less frequently.

Description

The model comes in an extra box that protects the original look. This is important if you are worried about presentability. The packaging itself evokes good emotions, that the product is not a basement invention. The tablet comes with a keyboard and a stylus. If you order now, the seller, as I understand it, will add a silicone overlay for the keyboard and mouse to the kit.

In my kit, the case comes with magnetic pogopin connectors. With the help of such connectors, a connection is made with the tablet. It’s more convenient than via Bluetooth. If the match is successful, the backlight of the keyboard will light up. Pogopins do not always match immediately, but such an incident is solved by tilting (pulling the corner down) the right corner of Dere down.

There are more magnets on the Dere T30 Pro, so the degree of holding the case and the tablet is very strong: just like that, the laptop will not fall out of the case, even if you shake it. When the connection is successful, the backlight of the keys will light up. The keys have a pleasant and long stroke, pressing is felt. The only inconvenience is the absence of the Del button.

The assembly is not without flaws, that is, you can, if desired, separate the display from the back wall, but only with the mind and understanding of the issue. The model has no moisture protection. The body of the device is aluminum. The upper part of the back wall is made of plastic, as there are most likely antennas (magnetic field detector — the green plate showed the presence of large magnetized areas). The outputs are located on the upper sides: on the left — two USB-A3.0 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack; on the right — the input for the charging unit, two USB-C, the top of which can transmit video to an external screen and charge the T30 Pro, the bottom one for reading information, and a slot for microSD memory cards. The last card slot is flush with the body, so it will be difficult to pull out the card: the spring does not eject it when pressed, you have to resort to external extractors. On the upper edge on the left are the volume and power buttons, as well as ventilation holes for the air coming out of the fan. The same holes are located on the sides of the device.

The photos below show the reviewed laptop from all angles. When starting Dere T30 Pro, there is no manufacturer splash screen, the Intel screen is loaded. The screen is not recessed, it has even edges with the body. The bezels on the bottom are larger on the screen than on the top. The front camera has a resolution of 0.9MP, the main one is 5MP. They can be used for video communication. It’s good that they are.

The screen turns on in 20 seconds, that is, after this time you can already start working with a laptop. Turning off occurs by long pressing the top key and moving the slider down on the screen. The laptop works in this case like a tablet, only the loading time is slightly longer than that of a tablet.

The kit includes a 12V / 3A charging block with plugs for different types of sockets. The outer diameter of the memory plug is 3.4 mm. I have a cable for 5.5×2.1 mm output from USB-C to 20V only. The Dere laptop is charged at 20V / 1.3A. Through USB-C (which is located below the plug), the charge goes at about 15V / 2.3A.

To charge the Dere tablet, you can use power supplies or external batteries from 36W of power. Models with less power will take much longer to charge it.

In terms of the charge indicator, the model is remarkable that it does not require a lot of power: 36W is enough. You can use a DC adapter with an outer diameter of 34 mm, or you can use the usual USB-C. Via USB-C, the Dere T30 Pro charges at 15V for 110 minutes at 2725mAh (41Wh). The resulting battery capacity corresponds to the declared in the characteristics (38Wh).

The right graph shows that the battery was charged at night, then worked from 10 o’clock, performing performance tests. The final discharge was about 2 hours. If you run less expensive programs, the battery will last for a longer time (3 hours). If you turn off the laptop, then the charge is not consumed at night, if you put it into sleep mode, then the capacity decreases by 10-13%, depending on how long the night lasts (6-10 hours).

The following shows information on charging via DC/PD adapter and discharging. It can be seen that the process takes place at a voltage of 20V, although the integrated PSU is 12V, but the total power still does not exceed 36W. The photo of the previous charge shows that the power was 40W, that is, for a short time the Dere T30 Pro can request more than 36W, but this is only if you use a laptop while charging.

The Dere T30 Pro laptop is a decent device for closing the issues of everyday content consumption needs. You can watch YouTube in 1440p or listen to it in the background and do other tasks, there will be no freezes. For quick printing, you can engrave the Cyrillic alphabet next to the English letters.

An important feature is the ability to install conventional computer programs. Without problems, you can put an office, something for simple video processing, photos. Carrying out everyday tasks on the large 13-inch 1440p screen is a pleasure not found on smaller screens. Initially, the screen shows an increase of 200℅, which I advise you to return to 100℅. The displayed content will become clearer.

Additionally, the functionality is expanded by a complete keyboard and a capacitive stylus. The stylus helps when you need to move the screen to the right, or when you need to take notes while reading, drawing, or doing other tasks.

The laptop has built-in cameras, which most users are used to in mobile devices. The only thing that distinguishes the Dere T30 Pro type name as a tablet is the lack of a SIM card slot, so as not to depend on the Internet, and built-in navigation systems. Therefore, the model on the review is more legitimate to call a laptop.

Conclusion

The Dere T30 Pro laptop turned out to be unequivocal, definitely not bad for everyday use. It works on the well-known operating system (Windows 11), there is a Russian language, a large amount of memory is already available in the database. Additionally, you can install memory cards and, judging by the fact that they are difficult to pull out, you should not do this, but simply increase the storage space for information. The model has high-speed USB-A and USB-C ports, the ability to connect to an external monitor and use various methods to charge the battery: an integrated power supply, a DC / PD adapter with a 36W charger or a USB-C cable with a similar power supply or an external battery of the required capacity. The number of variations in both the charge and the ways of using it is large, which expands the scope of the Dere T30 Pro and makes it more than just a tablet. The laptop model has wireless information transfer protocols — Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. There is everything you need for organizing both leisure and office tasks.
