Onyx Boox plans to release new items on 10/19/2022, exactly one year after four devices were introduced with different screen sizes for different market segments. We are talking about Leaf2, Nova 5, Note X2 and Tab10. According to other information, three models with 6″ screens will be presented.
Onyx Boox was founded in 2006. Currently, it carries out a full cycle of product development — from design and software development to assembly line.
The current version of the Boox Leaf e-reader has a 7″ 300 ppi E-Ink Carts 1100 screen with 2/32 GB RAM/ROM. The device has a 2000mAh battery, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The operating system is Android 10, there is a speaker and a microphone. The weight of the e-book is 169 g.
Boox NoteX has 10.3″ E-Ink with 227 ppi. The size of RAM and internal memory is 3/32 GB with stylus support. Android 11 is installed as the OS, there is a dual speaker and a microphone. Battery — 4000mAh battery, weight — 418 g. NoteX has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.
The Boox Note5+, introduced last year, has a 10.3″ 227 ppi E-Ink display. RAM is available 6GB and 128GB internal storage, there is also an electromagnetic stylus in the kit. Other features of the Note5+ include dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0, dual speaker and microphone, a fingerprint scanner, and a 3000mAh battery. The e-book comes pre-installed with Android 11 and weighs 380g.
The Max Lumi2 has a large 13.3″ E-Ink Carta 1250 screen with 206 ppi. Installed 6/128 GB of RAM / ROM, there is support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The device runs Android 11 and is powered by a 4400mAh battery. Other features include a fingerprint scanner, dual speaker and microphone. The weight of the e-book is 570 g.
