A few days ago, Realme started selling its new Realme Notebook Air laptop. So far, the laptop is sold in China, but soon the model will enter the international market. The model is distinguished by a strong metal case, small thickness and weight, and at the same time it is quite well equipped.
The laptop is sold in two trim levels. The 8 GB/256 GB version costs ¥2999, which is $445 at today’s exchange rate, while the 8 GB/512 GB version costs ¥3299 or $489. A very affordable laptop, but let’s see what they offer us for this money.
And we get an all-metal case, a high-quality 14″ IPS screen with FullHD resolution and narrow bezels. Responsible for performance is a core i3 11 gen 115G4, 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM running in dual-channel mode, and a 256 GB or 512 GB NVMe SSD. The laptop is equipped with advanced liquid cooling with two quiet fans, which means that performance drops are not expected under prolonged load. A battery with a capacity of 54 Wh is responsible for autonomy, and fast PD charging with a power of up to 65W is also supported. The laptop runs on the modern Windows 11 operating system.
In terms of interfaces, we have a pair of standard USB 3.2 connectors, as well as a pair of universal usb-c connectors. For wireless interfaces, we have a modem with WiFi 6 support, and a fingerprint scanner, which is placed above the keyboard, is responsible for security.
As you can see from the characteristics, this is a good solution for the Internet or portable use. Due to its small size and weight, it is convenient to carry and will fit even in a small travel backpack. It weighs only 1.36 kg and is 14.9 mm thick at its widest point.
