Disputes about the «smartness» of watches have been going on for a long time. Some believe that if it is impossible to install third-party applications on a watch, then this is not a smart watch, but a so-called fitness watch or even fitness bracelets. Others believe that if the device has the form factor of a watch and has various useful features, then this is already a smart watch. But at the same time, no one will deny that the most advanced are based on Android Wear, a system from Google that allows you to install hundreds of applications and in fact does not limit your use cases in any way. Want maps on your watch? Easily. Like a third-party sports companion and not the one installed by the manufacturer? Not a question — put any that is available in the market. In general, there is a sea of opportunities, and the development of Android Wear has essentially just begun. At the moment there are not so many hours on this system and for you I have selected some of the most interesting models.
TicWatch Pro 2020

One of the most inexpensive watches on Android Wear, although such watches, in principle, cannot be cheap. The main feature of TicWatch watches is the dual screen. The main AMOLED screen has a resolution of 400×400 pixels, and an additional monochrome FSTN graphic screen was installed on top of it, on which you can display basic indicators, for example: time, steps taken, pulse, etc. Thanks to this know-how, the watch can work up to 30 days. But this is of course in ultra saving mode. When using only the main screen, the operating time is reduced to 2 days, and in mixed mode, the watch lasts about a week. The watch is based on the Snapdragon Wear 2100 chip, equipped with 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of storage for installing applications. There are GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. Fossil Gen 5

Fossil has been releasing their smartwatches for years, and sometimes they even make watches for other brands like Michael Kors or Armani Exchange. The Fossil watch is not only a smart gadget, but also a beautiful one. Now a pretty good price for the 5th generation of watches, which received a rather simple, but at the same time stylish design. The chipset provides 30% more performance and at the same time is much more economical in charge than its predecessor. The watch supports automatic tracking of heart rate, blood oxygen saturation and other physical indicators, it will help you keep fit and exercise more efficiently. Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Unlike the Classic version, this model does not have a rotating bezel and the screen is located directly on the surface, making the watch look more elegant and less massive. The screen is also smaller here: in the 40 mm version it is 1.2 ″ Super AMOLED with a resolution of 396 x 396, and in the 44 mm version it is 1.4 ″ Super AMOLED with a resolution of 450 × 450. But on the other hand, they are much cheaper, and there are absolutely no differences in functions. There is also a top-end Exynos w920, 1.5 GB of RAM and a 16 GB drive.
