Given the shortage of semiconductors, it is difficult to advise anyone to buy a video card. But if you need a video card right now and you can’t do without it, then you can “outlast” the mining boom era on relatively budget solutions. In this article, I have collected several GPU options under $200.

Kllisre Radeon RX 560D

The RX 560D is a slightly “lighter” version of the regular RX 560. Instead of 1024 stream processors, the RX 560D has only 896 of them. The amount of video memory is 4 GB. Some buyers get the usual RX 560, but this is already a matter of luck.
DVI-D, HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces are available for connecting monitors. The latter allows you to connect displays with resolutions up to 5K at a refresh rate of 60 Hz.
HUANANZHI Radeon RX 550

In the CIS, HUANANZHI is better known as a manufacturer of inexpensive motherboards, but this Chinese company also has several models of video cards in its portfolio. Among them is the RX 550 with 4 GB of GDDR5 video memory.
The set of connectors is identical to the previous graphics accelerator. The graphics card size is 179 x 120 x 40mm, suitable for most compact ITX cases.
Kllisre GTX 1050

Typically, Nvidia GTX 1050 video cards have 2 GB or 3 GB of video memory. And here we have 4 GB GDDR5 discrete graphics. And no, it’s not a GTX 1050 Ti. The latter is much more expensive, alas.
The 4 GB version of the GTX 1050 can be found in relatively inexpensive gaming laptops, and most likely the Kllisre GTX 1050 model is assembled on the original “notebook” chip.
Yeston Radeon RX 550

Yeston’s super-compact single-slot Low Profile video card is suitable for installation in almost any computer case such as Slim-Desktop, etc. The interfaces here are HDMI 2.0, DVI-D and VGA. The amount of memory is 4 GB.
By default, this graphics card consumes no more than 40 watts, but in the Radeon graphics settings you can increase this value to 75 watts.
Maxsun GeForce GT 1030

The most budget video card in this collection. The set of interfaces, respectively, is also the most meager — only VGA and HDMI 2.0. The maximum resolution is 4096 x 2160 pixels at 60 Hz.
There are 2 versions of this card available for selection: 2 GB GDDR5 and 4 GB GDDR4. Tdp at 30 W, the video card almost does not heat up and does not make noise.
Asus GeForce GTX 950

If you need something faster in games than the Nvidia GT 1030, but cheaper than the AMD Radeon RX 560, then it would be quite reasonable to look at the GTX 950. The memory is 2 GB GDDR5, the dimensions of the video card are 212 × 124 × 39 mm.
There is support for DirectX 12 and OpenGL 4.5. There are HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and DVI-D connectors.
Actually, these are all video cards in the indicated price range on the Aliexpress website that I would like to review today. Of course, you can find many more affordable graphics accelerators, but I don’t see the point in recommending something less powerful than the GT 1030 for personal use in 2021.
